Applying some shot types

In groups of three we shot and edited this small video in around an hour to show different shot sizes and angles.

We successfully followed the 180 degree rule and felt no need to break it as this would be disorientating and wouldn't add to the video. Furthermore the focus and white balance (manual, based off of a white piece of paper,) were used quite successfully and we didn't have any issues. We collected a range of different shot sizes and placed the subjects in front of a bokeh image on the computer, however the size of the screen limited our framing opportunities which is why you can see screen edges at times.
The widest shot we had was at the start of the video and established the two characters in relation to eachother (MS/Two shot). The inability to create wider EWS shots and Long/mid shots meant that it was a bit harder to show the relationship between the subjects however we instead focus on their individual emotion by using close up shots and many over the shoulder shots. Another factor that would've improved this video is having the camera stable on a tripod to create a more professional feel and help with having continuity between shots.

I think in terms of composition this video is decent as there was sufficient head and look room around the subjects with the corresponding shot sizes and OTS followed the rule of thirds however once again a larger backdrop would've allowed for more dynamic camera movements like pans as well as better compositions.
